So you bought your new home. You are moving in and want great music to put you in the mood. Well maybe that’s and exaggeration, but music seems to always make boring tasks move along faster. In the past to get a whole house music system required a contractor of home audio and video to run wires, place speakers in the walls or ceilings and then sell you a complicated centralized system that would play a cd or radio station.
SONOS has fixed that. Sonos uses your home WiFi to allow up to 32 devices to play independently or in party mode throughout your home. Just imaging, your kids listening to their music in their room while you have your playlist playing in the kitchen, family room and patio. Sonos does this with support of your iPhone or Android music being streamed or you can listen to your Pandora, Spotify or my favorite Rhapsody.
Rhapsdody or Spotify is about$9.95 per month, but, you will have access to literally millions of tracks. It is as if you have been collecting CD’s over the past 100 years. With the exception of a few bands like the Beatles, almost every artist is out there. You can build play lists and save them to your Sonos and as long as you pay for Rhapsody or Spotify you will have access to these playlists.
Apps, Sonos, uses iPhones, iPad, Android, PC or Mac operating systems to control your music. Sonos has many options for music Sirius/XM radio and local radio stations or even international radio stations.
CAUTION: Sonos is addictive and it will make your house the party house of the neighborhood.
Enjoy, call me and thank me for your new addiction to music.
